Imagineering at the Royal Bath & West Show 2008 |
|
The Imagineering team returned triumphant from the Imagineering Fair at the Royal Bath & West Show, Shepton Mallet in Somerset, having won the Gold Medal for Best Feature in Show!! There were around 21,000 visitors around the Fair over the four days experiencing the scores of fantastic activities. Everyone coped with the challenges of a new location, larger pitch – and the downpours and floods on one evening. The showground itself had over 151,000 visitors in spite of the weather. |

GE Aviation – new to Imagineering – won the Imagineering Team Challenge Trophy and Bridgwater College, another newcomer, won a special competition at the Show to design a solar-powered wheelchair. Success and smiles all round!
