| Great Success at Ricoh! |

| The Imagineering Fair at the Jaguar Exhibition Hall at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry was a resounding success! Visitors flocked from across the Midlands to join in the scores of amazing activities laid on by nearly 50 organisations. Robotics, rockets, automotive, marine and aerospace engineering, manufacturing, CADCAM – there was something for everyone. Trevor Baylis, the famous inventor, was on hand chatting to everyone – as was an old mate, Oscar the Talking Robot, who now has quite a fan club! |

| The Energy and Environment Zone organised by National Grid Construction Alliances was a runaway success - everyone learning a great deal about gas and electricity, how our energy reaches us and how we can conserve it. |

| Green cars, racing cars, model cars, robotic cars, ‘celebrity cars’ (from James Bond and Lara Croft), quality cars with Jaguar and Bentley – everything for the car lover to look at and do! |

The science demonstration on the Learning Grid stand drew a crowd with the demonstrations using liquid nitrogen with its particularly spectacular properties!
And those youngsters with some energy left over were eager to join the queue to whizz up the Army’s climbing wall! |

| This was the eighth Imagineering Fair in the Midlands – and the first at the new location at the Ricoh Arena. This was also the largest Fair ever put together and Imagineering has now made many new ‘friends’ amongst some major blue-chip organisations who joined us for the weekend with their stunning activities and demonstrations. |
