Imagineering joins in the excitement at the Royal International Air Tattoo |
|
The IMAGINEERING FAIR was invited to join in all the excitement of the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, 15-16 July 2006, for the first time, with high profile supporters and fascinating activities.
|
| |
| Generously hosted by the RAF in the TRI@RIAT youth section of the show, Imagineering laid on fascinating activities for a whole new audience, supported by regular supporters from the Midlands and the Southwest: Airbus, Goodrich Engine Control Systems, National Grid, Rolls-Royce, Thales UK, Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology (IMarEST), 6 Battalion Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME), Royal Navy, and of course the Royal Air Force. |
| |
| Whether keeping the Army on the move, ships afloat, planes in the air or making sure we are all supplied with gas and electricity as and when we need it, these Imagineering supporters demonstrated that engineers of all kinds are at the very cutting edge of modern engineering and technology. The Air Tattoo had a record 167,000 visitors – at least 20,000 of whom popped in to see Imagineering, amongst whom were some Very Important People, as you can see by our photos below. |
