REME Bike Presentation
14-year-old Rebecca Ewen, who attends Okehampton College in Devon, had the surprise of her life one morning at assembly when she was presented with a mountain bike by WO1 Iain Quince of 6 Battalion Regimental Recruiting Team of REME (Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers) based at Tidworth in Hants. She won her prize, donated by REME, in a special draw when she visited the REME stand at the IMAGINEERING FAIR at the Royal Bath & West Show at Shepton Mallet in early June. |

| The 6 Bn REME Recruitment Team have been loyal supporters of Imagineering since 2001 and they too are eager to encourage youngsters to follow an engineering career path. REME soldiers are amongst the most highly skilled and trained in the entire Army. They are the Army’s professional engineers and work at the cutting edge of technology to maintain the Army’s high-tech equipment. |
