Special Prizegiving by REME Captain to Young "Imagineer"
Young ‘Imagineer’ Amie Hayden-Smith had the surprise of her life when she was presented with her special prize by Captain John Pratt , OC of Regimental Recruiting Team of 6 Battalion REME (Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers) at a special ceremony at her school, Lavington School, Market Lavington, nr Devizes

The 13-year-old from Market Lavington won her prize, a mountain bike kindly donated by REME, in a Grand Draw when she visited the Imagineering Fair at the Royal Bath & West Show. REME soldiers are amongst the most highly skilled and trained in the entire Army. They are the Army’s professional engineers and work at the cutting edge of technology to maintain the Army’s high-tech equipment.
