Fairs |
 |
The Imagineering Fairs are major annual events, currently held in four locations in the UK,
capturing the interest of 8-16 year-olds in engineering, manufacturing and technology,
hopefully encouraging them to make this their career and help to improve the drastic
shortage of skilled engineers in the UK.
They form a major part of the
Royal Bath & West Show in Shepton Mallet, Somerset; feature at the International Air Day at RNAS Yeovilton; at The Royal Interational Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford near Cirencester; and are a major part of the Country Festival at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, where the Fair is supported by Advantage West Midlands. The Imagineering Fair consists of stands with fun, interactive projects for young people (and their parents) provided by manufacturers, large and small, universities, colleges, schools and institutions. A video taster of the Fairs is available on our Fair Video page.
