The BLOODHOUND SSC, Super Sonic Car was one of the show-stopping features at the tenth IMAGINEERING FAIR held at the Country Festival, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on the August Bank Holiday. The stunning vehicle is set for an attempt on the World Land Speed Record in 2011. This was only the second time that the public had been able to view the show car to date.

The event, supported by Advantage West Midlands, attracted thousands of people from across the Midlands who came to celebrate Imagineering’s 10th Anniversary with the aid of over 20 major engineering and manufacturing organisations. The Fair was a major feature at the Country Festival and the scores of fantastic fun activities kept children occupied for hours.

The Imagineering team returned triumphant from a highly successful Imagineering Fair at the Royal Bath & West Show at Shepton Mallet where it won the Gold Award for Best Feature in Show for the second year running. Over 20,000 people visited Imagineering during the 4-day show enjoying the great weather (after the very wet first day) and the scores of activities laid on by our loyal supporters.
This year the Royal Navy was celebrating 100 Years of Naval Aviation and there were plenty of features to interest youngsters.
